Illuminated & LED Illuminated

Illuminated signs used in conjunction with transluscent and opaque graphics and material can produce various attractive effects. Standard lightboxes are normally made from anodized aluminium, but can be custom made in acrylic, steel, brass or other materials in a variety of shapes and sizes.

Illumination can be front, side or rear halo illumination. There is also an edge light system where the graphic or lettering is engraved onto a clear acrylic and the engraved area only illuminates. With modern trends towards carbon emissions LED's use a fraction of electricity to power up compared to fluorescent tubes. The average running life of a LED compared to a conventional fluorescent is 50,000hrs - 2,000hrs, requiring very little maintenance.
